Miesha Adams has been part of the Clayton County community for the past eight years and has dedicated much of that time to uplifting local youth. Through her organization, Operation Level Up Leadership Youth Edition, she works to provide students with exposure, mentorship, and real-world opportunities that help them build confidence and leadership skills.

Miesha created OLUL from personal experience. Growing up in a community where access to career guidance and mentorship was limited, she recognized the importance of creating pathways for young people to learn, grow, and explore opportunities. Her organization focuses on equipping students with tools that support academic growth, career awareness, and personal development.

One of the things Miesha values most about Clayton County is the people. She believes the county’s strength lies in its residents who consistently show resilience, collaboration, and a strong sense of community. Families, local organizations, and community leaders often work together to create a supportive environment where neighbors uplift one another.

At the same time, Miesha recognizes that there are still opportunities for growth within the county, particularly when it comes to accessible youth programming. While some programs exist, many are selective or limited in capacity, leaving many teenagers without opportunities that align with their interests or personal development goals. Through OLUL, she is working to help bridge that gap by providing meaningful programming and mentorship opportunities for high school students.

A memorable experience that highlights Clayton County’s collaborative spirit for Miesha is attending Clayton County A.C.T.I.O.N. meetings. These gatherings bring together organizations, residents, and local leaders to discuss community needs, share resources, and work toward solutions together. The collaboration across nonprofits, schools, faith-based groups, and residents reflects the type of community partnership that helps strengthen Clayton County.

In addition to founding OLUL, Miesha actively contributes to the community through volunteer work. She participates in the Village On Patrol program through Clayton County Public Schools, helping support local schools while continuing her broader mission of youth development and engagement.

Through leadership, mentorship, and service, Miesha Adams continues to make a meaningful difference by helping Clayton County students gain the skills, confidence, and exposure they need to succeed.

Community leaders like Miesha represent the spirit of collaboration and progress that keeps Clayton County moving forward.

At The Best of Clayton County, we remain committed to highlighting individuals who are making a difference across our community. Stories like Miesha’s reflect the dedication, leadership, and vision that continue to shape the future of Clayton County.
