Run, Remember and Serve at the 2026 RunSboro GA 5K in Jonesboro

The City of Jonesboro is inviting runners, walkers and families to gather for the 2026 RunSboro GA 5K on Saturday, September 12, at Lee Street Park.

Hosted by the Jonesboro Youth City Government, the race will bring the community together for a morning centered on fitness, remembrance, service and support for Clayton County’s young people.

Supporting Clayton County Youth

Proceeds from the RunSboro GA 5K will benefit youth programming and leadership opportunities through the Jonesboro Youth City Government.

Every registration will help local youth gain access to programs designed to develop leadership skills, encourage civic participation and prepare the next generation to serve their community.

A Certified 5K Course

The 5K course is certified by USA Track & Field, and participants’ official race times may be used as qualifying times for the following year’s Peachtree Road Race.

The event also includes a free RunSboro Jr. 40-Yard Dash for young participants.
