Global Issues incorporated mission is to “identify, serve and empower low income persons/communities in need” Through programs like R.E.A.D.Y, specifically designed to make counseling services more accessible and available to low income community’s youth. R.E.A.D.Y focuses on group therapy as well as one on one sessions that allow the youth to openly discuss relevant issues, that otherwise would not be tackled on a regular basis. While simultaneously cultivating their talents and learning and building important life skills. Topics span from self-esteem to credit building, and the floor is always open for topics selected by group members.
