Coach Maurice Empowering Our Youth in Clayton County

Clayton County is home to many leaders who pour their time, energy, and heart into uplifting young people. Coach Maurice Anderson is one of those leaders. As Founder and Director of Royal Dollz & Gentz Drill Team LLC, Coach Maurice has spent the past 10 years helping youth across Clayton County develop discipline, leadership, and confidence through performing arts and mentorship.
His organization focuses on excellence in performance while also teaching life skills. Beyond routines and appearances, the program emphasizes structure, accountability, and positive lifestyle choices. Youth involved in Royal Dollz & Gentz are encouraged to maintain good grades, show respect, and develop a strong attitude both on and off the stage.
Building Community Through Youth Development
Coach Maurice believes one of Clayton County’s greatest strengths is working together as a community for the youth. Through his program, he provides opportunities for young people ages 8 to 21, particularly those considered at-risk, to stay engaged in something productive.
His mission centers around guiding young men and women away from negative influences and toward growth, leadership, and teamwork.
The drill team has become a visible presence at community events, parades, and celebrations, bringing energy while representing Clayton County with pride.
Giving Back to Clayton County
Coach Maurice has also demonstrated commitment to service. One memorable example was hosting a back-to-school event where more than 200 free book bags and school supplies were distributed to local students. The organization also feeds the homeless and continues to support families throughout the community.
These efforts go beyond performance and show a deeper investment in the wellbeing of Clayton County residents.
