Educators across Clayton County, Georgia are receiving welcome news. A $2,000 one-time supplement approved in Georgia’s state budget is being distributed to teachers and eligible school staff, and it’s a moment worth celebrating.

This bonus recognizes the daily work happening in classrooms, school buildings, buses, cafeterias, and offices throughout Clayton County Public Schools. From early mornings to after-school support, educators across the county continue to serve students and families in meaningful ways that shape the future of the community.
The $2,000 supplement is a one-time payment funded by the state of Georgia and is expected to go to state-funded K-12 education positions, including:
Teachers
