Clayton County Public Schools is preparing to celebrate the Class of 2026 with a special College Send-Off event designed to encourage, connect, and support graduating seniors as they prepare for their next chapter.

Clayton County Public Schools 2026 College Send-Off flyer featuring graduating students, event details for August 1, 2026, at the CCPS Café in Jonesboro, Georgia, and registration information for graduating seniors and families.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the CCPS Café, located at 1098 Fifth Avenue in Jonesboro. Families, graduates, alumni, and community supporters are invited to attend as students prepare for college and university life.

According to the flyer, attendees can expect opportunities to connect with fellow CCPS graduates attending similar colleges and universities, meet alumni and community supporters, receive special prayer and encouragement, and begin building valuable networks before stepping onto campus. Students are also encouraged to wear their college shirts to represent their future schools proudly.

The event highlights the importance of community support as students transition into higher education. Creating spaces where graduates can meet others headed down similar paths can help strengthen confidence and build relationships before the school year begins.

Events like this continue to show the investment being made in students across Clayton County as they prepare for opportunities beyond graduation. The Best of Clayton County enjoys highlighting programs and events that encourage education, mentorship, and community connection throughout the county.

Registration is required, and the deadline to register is Friday, July 24, 2026. Participants can scan the QR code on the flyer for additional registration details.
