Clayton County Community Tailgate Brings College Football, Food Trucks and Family Fun to Rex Park

Clayton County Parks and Recreation will host a family-friendly Community Tailgate on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from noon to 7 p.m. at Rex Park in Rex.
Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and refreshments for an afternoon featuring live college football games, food trucks, local vendors, music from a DJ and community fun.

What to Expect
Football fans can catch live college games while families enjoy food trucks, local vendors and music. Guests should bring their lawn chairs and may also bring their own refreshments.
The seven-hour event gives residents plenty of time to stop by, enjoy the park and spend part of their Saturday connecting with the community.
Parking and Shuttle Service

Shuttle service will operate from 11 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
