On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Dr. Alieka Anderson-Henry was sworn in as the newest member of the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC). The ARC is the official planning agency for the 11-county Atlanta region and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and fostering successful growth across metro Atlanta.
About the Atlanta Regional Commission
The ARC is guided by a 41-member board that oversees regional planning efforts, data-driven investments, and collaborative initiatives designed to benefit the diverse communities in and around Atlanta.
