Women in Rotary Social in Jonesboro to Bring Fellowship, Leadership Conversations, and PolioPlus Fundraising to Clayton County

The Rotary Club of Atlanta Southern Crescent will host its Women in Rotary Social on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at B’Mari Events Venue, located at 106 N. McDonough Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
This evening will bring together women in Rotary, community leaders, and guests for fellowship, networking, leadership conversations, and community connection. The event theme is centered around empowering women, strengthening communities, and changing lives through Rotary service.
The program will include a panel discussion featuring distinguished women Rotary leaders, including Claudia Tucker Mertl, Past District Governor with the Rotary Club of Atlanta Southern Crescent; Cynthia Dorsey Edwards, District Governor Elect with the Rotary Club of Stone Mountain; and Amy Benton, District Governor Nominee Designate with the Rotary Club of Peachtree City.
Guests can also enjoy networking opportunities with women from Rotary clubs across the district, door prizes, giveaways, a delicious menu, and a signature Rotary-themed cocktail available at the cash bar.
A special part of the evening will be the “Purses for Polio” fundraiser, supporting Rotary PolioPlus. General admission is $35, and Purses for Polio participation is $50. All proceeds from the Purses for Polio portion will benefit Rotary PolioPlus, helping Rotary continue its global work toward ending polio.
The event menu includes pulled pork sliders, chicken salad croissants, salmon croquettes with cornbread dressing, charcuterie, crudité with cheese, roasted vegetable pasta salad, caramel and chocolate striped cookies, key lime cups, and strawberry shortcake cups.
Admission is limited to 75 attendees, so early registration or RSVP is encouraged.
