"Notice is hereby given that a Special Election shall be held on September 21, 2021 in the election precincts of County Commission District 1 of the County. A run-off, if needed, shall be held on October 19, 2021.

QUALIFYING: Qualifying for the special election shall be held at the Clayton County Board of Elections and Registration Office, 121 South McDonough Street, Annex II, Main Floor Jonesboro, Georgia 30236. The qualifying fee shall be $1,068 and can be paid by Cashier’s Check or Money Order. The dates and hours of qualifying shall be as follows:

Monday, July 19, 2021 - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, July 20, 2021 - 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Wednesday, July 21, 2021 – 9:00 a.m. – 12 Noon" - Clayton County Elections and Registration
