LudaCares Harvest of Heart Thanksgiving Event Brings Holiday Support to Clayton County Families

On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the Ludacris Foundation and United Way of Greater Atlanta hosted the LudaCares Harvest of Heart Thanksgiving event at Roberta T. Smith Elementary School. Families from Clayton County and nearby communities gathered to receive Thanksgiving turkeys, pick out new shoes, and visit a volunteer run storefront filled with free goodies for children.
Principal T. Griggs was present and welcomed families, volunteers, and partners to the school. The support and presence of the school’s leadership helped create a warm and encouraging atmosphere for everyone who attended.
Volunteers from across the community, including United Way’s Young Professional Leaders, worked together to help families prepare for the holiday season. Parents and children left with items that brought comfort, joy, and a sense of relief ahead of Thanksgiving.
