Life After the Rain Celebrates 10 Years With Annual Walk in Jonesboro

Life After the Rain is celebrating a decade of healing, hope and purpose with its 10th Anniversary Annual Walk on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Lake Spivey Recreation Center in Jonesboro.
Hosted by Life with Shenita, LLC, the community walk will begin at 7:00 a.m. and bring participants together under the message, “Together, We Walk. Together, We Heal. Together, We Rise.”
The annual gathering encourages people to walk alongside others who have experienced grief, loss, personal challenges or major life transitions. It also celebrates the strength, encouragement and community support that can help people continue moving forward.

Directions to Lake Spivey Recreation Center:
Participants are encouraged to wear an official Life After the Rain walk shirt or a yellow T-shirt. Brunch will be served following the walk.

Anniversary Sunday Service
The anniversary celebration will continue with a Sunday service beginning at 9:30 a.m. at New Vision Christian Church, located at 5320 Phillips Drive in Lake City.
Additional information about an anniversary celebration dinner will be announced by the organizers.
