Free Back 2 School Pep Rally Coming to Riverdale on July 18

Families in Riverdale can get ready for a fun and helpful back to school celebration this summer.

The City of Riverdale and Riverdale Walmart are presenting the Back 2 School Pep Rally on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The event will take place at 7210 Church Street, Riverdale, GA 30274.

This free community event will include music, food, games, face painting, haircuts, hair braiding, and a bouncy house. Families can also receive free school supplies, with distribution beginning at 12 PM. Children must be present to receive school supplies.

The first 50 kids will be served for haircuts, and the first 20 kids will be served for hair braiding. Hair services are for natural hair and simple styles only. Hair must be washed and ready to be serviced. Hair services will end at 2 PM or when the maximum number of children has been reached.
