Dance Contest K-12 Win $250 Visa Gift Card Prize with Newman Wetlands Center. Ends October 27, 2023

Clayton County, GA- Does your kid love to dance? Want to win a Visa gift card for your skills? Check out our first-ever nature-inspired dance contest. Sway like an oak tree in the wind. Leap like a white-tailed deer. Bow like a sandhill crane. Create fun moves to the song of your choice and enter our contest.

Eligibility: All K-12 students and homeschoolers are eligible. Compete as an individual or a team. Teams can be a max of 5 people. Submissions must be submitted by October 27th at 5 pm.

Guidelines:

All group members must be in the same age category.

Performances shall not be longer than 2 minutes.

Each individual or team may submit no more than one entry each.

Judging: Submissions will be judged based on creativity, skill, and relevance to the natural world. Submissions will be judged by the Clayton County Water Authority’s Communications and Community Relations team.

Prizes:

Each age group winner will receive a $250 gift card. Winners will be invited to perform their dance at this year’s Wetlands & Watershed Festival happening Saturday, November 4th from 10 am to 2 pm.
