City of Riverdale Home Repair Assistance Program Opens July 1, 2026

Riverdale homeowners may soon have access to assistance for essential home repairs through the City of Riverdale’s Home Repair Assistance Program.
Funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, this initiative is designed to help eligible homeowners address critical repairs that contribute to safe and healthy living conditions. The program covers a variety of improvements that can help residents maintain their homes and protect their investment.

Repairs Covered
Eligible repairs may include:
• Roof replacement
• Plumbing repairs
• Electrical repairs
• HVAC (heating and air conditioning) improvements
• Window replacement
• Other health and safety-related improvements
Who Qualifies?
Applicants must:
• Live within the Riverdale city limits
• Meet income eligibility guidelines
• Own and occupy the home as their primary residence
