Why: To celebrate our First Responders and encourage philanthropy and charity in our youth. Who should attend: Station Activities appropriate are for ages 5-12
But all AGE groups are Welcome!
Theme: Give Hope To Our Heroes
The holidays are an especially wonderful time to teach kids about giving and serving others. Learning that "giving" goes beyond buying presents for loved ones and really means helping those in need can be an especially eye-opening experience for children.
We NEED Toys, Gift Wrapping Supplies, and Art and Craft Supplies
Teaching kids about philanthropy is a great way to encourage empathy and for them to experience what it's like to offer support to others. Young children can learn to give back during the holiday season by giving a kind word, offering a smile, sharing a toy, drawing a picture, writing or dictating a note, or cheering up a lonely friend or family member. There are an infinite number of toys, games, and treats in today’s world, and gift getting sometimes takes center stage during the holidays.
So let’s gather to Give with a Purpose: Hope to our Heroes!
**Each person is asked to bring or donate one NEW or UNWRAPPED unwrapped gift.**
The kids will create cards and crafts for first responders. Clayton County Police Department Clayton County Fire & Emergency Services Clayton County Emergency Management please stop by after 6PM to get some LOVE!!
Please register so we have a HEADCOUNT for kids!
