11th Annual Jeffrey E. Turner Fitness 5K Run/Walk Returns to Jonesboro August 29

Clayton County residents are invited to run, walk, and support two local causes during the 11th Annual Jeffrey E. Turner Fitness 5K Run/Walk.

The event will take place Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Lee Street Park, located at 155 Lee Street in Jonesboro. On-site registration begins at 7:00 a.m., followed by the 5K run and walk at 8:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Friends of Clayton County CASA and the Classie Mae Turner Scholarship Fund.

• On-site registration: 7:00 a.m.

• Run/walk begins: 8:00 a.m.

• Location: Lee Street Park, 155 Lee Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236

• Early registration: $30 per person

• Race-day registration: $35 per person

Online registration for the in-person race is listed at $30 through Friday, August 28, at 8:00 a.m. A $30 virtual-runner option is also available through the same deadline.
